Former President Trump received 85% of the support in the straw survey conducted by Turning Point USA, said the organization’s creator, Charlie Kirk, on Sunday.

Trump Comes Out On Top

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis finished second and scored higher than Vivek Ramaswamy.

Kirk also said that he does not feel it comes as much of a shock that the straw poll leader with 85% would be in the favor of former President Donald Trump.

The anticipated vice president pick’s outcomes were extremely unexpected.

According to The Gateway Pundit, Kari Lake topped the CPAC straw poll for vice president with 20% of the vote, defeating Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley previously this year. Kari Lake was one of over 30 candidates who Turning Point USA voters could have picked from.

Lake is the undisputed frontrunner for the position of former President Trump’s running mate in many national surveys.

The Republican, nevertheless, insists she is standing up for Arizonans and pursuing her legal action against the state’s 2022 gubernatorial election. Lake also believes “everybody in Arizona recognizes” that she won the election for governor.

Finally, Lake declares that she is completely committed to serving as governor of Arizona.

Lake continues to be hinting at a potential bid for another position.

She previously said in front of an audience in Iowa that she will do anything in her authority to get Trump voted in as president. That’s even if the courts don’t possess the fortitude to do what needs to be done and what is right.

Lake Stands by Trump

Unlike Mike Pence and other candidates who might run for vice president, Lake won’t ever desert the United States or former President Trump.

According to aides, Trump has enjoyed following Lake’s rise and seen similarities to his own. Lake, like him, is a veteran TV news anchor who ran for governor of Arizona on the right-wing ticket.
