Based on the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C., three companies in the Northeast of the city were attacked before dawn on Sunday.
Between around 4:30 and 4:45 a.m., bombs were used to target an ATM for Truist Bank and a Nike shop, whilst a Safeway was attacked by fire with a Molotov cocktail.
Due to the closure of the businesses, no fatalities have been reported. According to law enforcement, each attack left the companies with unspecified damages.

D.C. police and the ATF are each offering a reward of $20,000 for knowledge of the explosions.
“Loud blast sounds were overheard at 4:30 am here on Rhode Island Row/Ave Metro Stop,” wrote a resident who heard one of the blasts and took a picture of the police reaction.
“Glass from Truist Bank is broken and the firefighters report there was an occurrence at the bank. MPD is now closing the roadway.”
According to a police statement:
“In relation to crimes involving the damage of property that took place on Sunday, July 2, in the District, Metropolitan PD’s Criminal Investigations Division detectives, along with employees from the ATF and Explosives Washington Field Division, are asking for help from the public in locating individuals and a motor vehicle.”
At around 4:30 am, the offender set off a bomb near the ATM at Truist Bank, which is situated in the 2300 block of Washington Place, Northeast, before driving away from the scene.
The area was damaged by the explosive device.
The Nike Store occupies a space in the 700 block of H Street, Northeast. At around 4:36 am, the assailant triggered a bomb on the pavement in front of the doors, then drove away.
Motive Unknown
The offender targeted the Safeway shop in the 300 block of 40th Street, Northeast, at around 4:45 in the morning and drove away from the location of the incident.
