Venice Beach, one truly iconic American landmark, has been utterly overwhelmed by the rampant homelessness in Los Angeles.
Local authorities are now letting homeless individuals squat anywhere they please with complete impunity. This has now been demonstrated by an utterly shocking new video report.
Dems Love the Homelessness
Marxist-Communist Democrats just seem to love homelessness – don’t they? Otherwise, why would the entire West Coast, which has been under the yoke of commies for decades now, be littered with homeless encampments?
The fate of LA’s “iconic” Venice Beach is one of the best cases in hand.
A year ago, a village of about 200 homeless individuals was “cleared” from there. Yet now, the homeless encampments have returned in full swing, according to a mind-blowing new video, The Daily Mail reports.
The 30-minute long footage shows that Venice Beach has once again been turned into nothing short of a “trash heap,” featuring blankets, tarps, and grocery carts.
The report makes it clear that at least 120 homeless squatters resettled Venice Beach, with dozens of tents dotting the cityscape.
‘Shelter in Place’
With them, all the niceties of homeless encampments that Democrats love so much are back in full force. Local residents are crying foul over mountains of garbage and random fires started by the homeless squatters.
The report stresses Los Angeles’s “shelter in place” policy, which prevents law enforcement and city officials from evicting the dwellers of homeless encampments.
It notes that in one current case, a homeless person can be seen surrounding himself with a fence of “stolen grocery carts” beneath a pagoda, while a new homeless camp sprung up close to the Venice library.
The grocery cart person was removed last week, but another homeless individual immediately took up his spot.
About 75,000 people are believed to be homeless in Los Angeles County. With no sensible solution in sight, the issue is only going to get much, much worse.
