A mass shooting in Philadelphia has sadly punctured the mainstream media’s narrative that the biggest domestic national security issue is “white supremacy.”

Kimbrady Carriker, 40, from Philadelphia, was charged with murder on Wednesday following a shooting spree that left five dead and two wounded in the city. The Philadelphia Police Department has brought a raft of charges against Carriker, including five counts of murder and attempted murder each, among others.

Carriker is a known BLM advocate and cross-dresser, as a Facebook account from March 2022 depicted him cross-dressing, adorned with a bra, hoop earrings, and gold bracelets.

According to the police, Carriker unleashed gunfire “indiscriminately” at people and vehicles in the Kingsessing neighborhood around 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Equipped with an AR-style rifle, a handgun, a bulletproof vest, and magazines, Carriker resides about a block away from where the first fatality was discovered.

In addition to the murder charges, Carriker faces charges for endangering, assaulting, and carrying firearms illegally. A public defender was scheduled to represent him, and an initial court hearing is set for July 24. The Defender Association of Philadelphia declined to comment.

Records indicate that in 2003, Carriker was found guilty of possessing a firearm without a permit. District Attorney Larry Krasner stated that the shooting seemed to be a “planned, deliberate act of random killing” and the perpetrator appeared to have no known ties to the victims.

Upon responding to the shooting, the police found several individuals injured, while additional shots were heard. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw mentioned that officers pursued the shooter amidst ongoing gunfire and discovered about 50 shell casings at the crime scene.

The victims include four adult males and one teenage boy, with two other children aged 2 and 13 wounded but stable. Two other individuals were injured by shattered glass. This incident sparked widespread sorrow in the primarily black community and spurred calls for action against gun violence.

The July 4th weekend mass shooting is another incident that is raising concerns about political violence related to the LGBTQ and transgender communities. In April, a transgender assailant named Audrey Hale perpetrated a mass shooting at a private Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee, which led to the deaths of six victims.

Hale left behind a manifesto, which the authorities refused to release to the public. According to police, this document revealed her meticulously laid plans to execute the attack, a scheme that spanned several months. The FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit claimed the manifesto is under investigation and that Hale’s motive currently remains unknown.

FBI statistics show definitively that Black males commit a disproportionately high number of homicides in America. The White alone non-Hispanic demographic commits approximately half the homicides as the Black population, despite outnumbering them by over three-to-one.
