Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has called for expanding the list of people at Joe Biden’s Department of Justice who should be impeached by the GOP-led House.
The fiery Georgia Republican said that Attorney General Merrick Garland should be impeached along with U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves.
She knocked the AG in a recent tweet over his “refusal to prosecute Joe and Hunter Biden while persecuting President Trump and many conservatives is grounds for impeachment.” She added: “It’s absolutely unacceptable to allow these criminals to maintain power.”
In another post, she noted that she moved to impeach President Joe Biden not long after he took office.
“I filed Articles of Impeachment on Joe Biden’s first full day in office,” she wrote. “We already knew many of the crimes he committed then, but now we know so much more in just 6 months of a Republican-led House thanks to the important investigative work being done on @GOPOversight.”
In a tweet posted on Saturday, meanwhile, Greene suggested that the president and members of the first family may also have been involved in “human trafficking” after cocaine was found in the White House.
“Last weekend it was cocaine in the West Wing. What are we going to find out next?? That the Biden family was involved in a human trafficking ring buying Ukrainian and Russian prostitutes? That Joe received $5 million in a foreign bribery pay-to-play scheme as VP? Oh, wait…” she wrote.
And, she took Biden to task for “bypassing” a congressional ban on cluster munitions to send the controversial weapons to Ukraine.
She wrote in a lengthy tweet:
Biden invoked his power under the Foreign Assistance Act to bypass a congressional ban of cluster munitions by claiming that vital U.S. national security interests are at stake in order to send hundreds of thousands of controversial cluster munitions to Ukraine. Cluster munitions are banned by over 120 countries including most of NATO. The American people and United States national security interest are not in danger in Ukraine. However, side stepping Congress and sending dangerous cluster munitions to Ukraine is United States escalation of war, which could ultimately lead to endangering the American people and our national security interests by dragging us into an unwanted war with nuclear armed Russia. The United States role should be ending this war and negotiating peace NOT escalating another war in another foreign country at the expense and risk of the American people.
One Twitter user suggested Biden’s actions on the cluster bombs was also “impeachable.”
“Sounds like yet another impeachable offense yet here we all sit while the most corrupt president in the history of our country gets away with it all. Words are meaningless. We want action,” the user wrote.
Last month in an interview, Greene said she was “dumbfounded” as to why the GOP majority in the House had yet to impeach Biden, given the evidence of alleged corruption the party has uncovered.
“To be honest with you? I don’t know. That’s the part that literally leaves me dumbfounded,” she explained to Breitbart News as to why the party had not yet done so.
“I’ve already been texting a ton of my colleagues, ‘We have to impeach Biden, we have to impeach Biden,’” she added.
“We have to impeach him in the House to show and prove to our voters that we’re willing to do these things, are willing to bring accountability. If we don’t do it, then why do they want to vote for us?” she said.
